Camden County High School’s Advanced Drama class held the high school world premiere of Oler, Hubbard & Hartley’s musical version of Little Women. Griffin plays the matriarch, Aunt March. In Griffin’s main song for the show, she teaches the character of Jo the finer points of how to be a lady. The most succinct piece of advice she offers her tomboyish niece Jo comes at the end of the song when she says, “Don’t be you!” Griffin got a great reaction from the crowd on this song and her other parts throughout the show which plays through Sunday afternoon.
You’ll hear more about this play later as they will cut it down to a one act play for competition in the State One Act play contest. In the meantime, enjoy these photos and click on any of them to see a full screen version of the picture.
