We had church work and meetings to do and a LOT of progress to make on this house this past weekend and it all came together. Like a looming deadline on a home renovation show, we faced Griffin coming home today from her grandmother’s and we wanted to have the house as back to normal as humanly possible. So, we finished the laminate flooring and trim work and got moved back in from having our bedroom, closet and bath stuff tucked elsewhere around the house.
Now we have just the shower surround tile job left. Oh, and Vacation Bible School starts today at the church and we are exhausted. But we are pleased with how the work has gone. There is a great sense of satisfaction in a job well done and a home genuinely improved with a lot of sweat equity.
