Finishing Touches

On Monday, we finished our big renovation project in a 12-hour work day which included grouting the shower surround (work, but easy) and changing out Griffin’s bathroom faucet (easy, but turned into a big 2-hour ordeal when a pipe broke off in the wall. Continuing work on the bathroom, we got the main tile and trim tile in place. Once this all dries, we can then add the trim work between the tub and the surround and the soap holder, shelves and towel rack and finally grout. The end of the project is in sight.

…having your toilet and bathtub out on the curb. We are remodeling our “master” bedroom and bath by redoing the floors, repainting and/or tiling the walls as appropriate and replacing the tub, toilet, sinks and fixtures. Other than that, we aren’t doing much.
